DATA ARCHITECTURE
Data architecture refers to the acquistition; management and exploitation of the relevant information for the organization. The data architecture defines the responsibilities for the data; the data access requirements; whether data should be made available externally; what is common data and what is not; which standards are used for data exchange etcetera. If relevant, the data architecture defines the enterprise data and the corresponding relationships. (business data model)
